WHAT IS KEEPING TRACKS?

KEEPING TRACKS is a Bloodhound Search/Rescue/Recovery organization founded in 1996 dedicated to the recovery of missing persons.  Our endeavors focus on

  • diligent, comprehensive, proper training of man-trailing Bloodhounds
  • assisting law enforcement and emergency agencies in criminal

              investigations and crisis situations

  • offering families an alternative search/rescue option
  • educating society--especially parents and children--in safety techniques and

              abduction-prevention measures

CHILD SAFETY PROGRAM

KEEPING TRACKS believes that communities can be safe by design, not by chance.  This is accomplished by creating awareness in schools, churches, and at community events, educating a community on how to keep their children safe.

How does the program work?

Just as there are techniques that can be taught to keep children safe during a fire ("Stop, drop, and roll!"), there are techniques to teach children to be safe if approached by a child predator.

We teach children how
  • to identify a "stranger"
  • be safe in a public place such as a store
  • be safe on a bicycle

We teach the value of using a bloodhound to track missing persons

We teach what to do if an adult or child goes missing
